Year 'round, there's always something special being planned and served on the property. The management and staff take a genuine pleasure in making sure even the smallest details are in place to leave you with memories you'll cherish for a long time!
When the leaves turn to gold, the Bedford Village Inn holds its annual Lighting
of the Hearth Fires signaling the start of the Winter Holidays. Now the warmest
invitations are extended to the occasional visitor and regular guest to draw a
chair up to the fire, put your feet on the bumper and raise a toast to your

Our traditional Thanksgiving Dinner is unrivaled as a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Flowers, fruits, music and a spectacular menu go to nourish the whole person leaving guests deeply thankful for life’s bounty. So we will have your place ready at our table, advanced reservations are a must.

Annual Mother & Daughter High Tea - December 2008
This event has fast become one of our most popular events and marks
the start of the Holiday Season. Mother and daughter, dressed in holiday finery
looking like they just stepped out of a bandbox, enjoy the entertainment and
create warm memories for years to come. Early reservations are strongly
recommended. $29.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity. A special favor for each
guest. 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM in the Great Hall. Entertainment ~Holiday

Moving further into our Seasonal celebrations here at the Inn, we come to Christmas Eve dinner on
Monday, December 24th. While Santa and Blitzen are home filling the stockings and hiding the presents, take your own sleigh to one of our eight gorgeous dining rooms and check out our offerings to you.

New Year's Eve Dining Room - 2008
Menus Will Be Posted In September
Instead of faux razzle-dazzle of
meatballs in a pan, a conga line and bowls of mixed nuts on a crowded table, say
goodbye to 2007 by enjoying the true razzle dazzle of the Inn's cuisine in an
intimate fireside dining room. Choose from a carefully crafted menu that
included Trio of Duck, Pan Roasted Vermont Quail and Roasted Rack of Lamb
followed by sweets such as Strawberry and Champagne Sorbet and Baked Alaska.

New Year's Eve Gala in The Great
Hall

This year we'll revive a grand tradition-the New Year's Eve Gala in our Great
Hall. An elegant evening of superb food, dancing and spirited cheers in
the grandest room at the Inn completely adorned in the most spectacular holiday
decor. The evening will feature the five-piece Vic Paul Band, sumptuous
four-course dinner, party favors, cash bar, Vueve Cliquoe Champagne midnight
toast with pastry buffet and international coffee station. $125.00 per
person plus tax and gratuity. Luxury overnight accommodations can be
reserved with this event for $75.00 per person plus tax, available on a
first-come first-serve limited basis.

A Magical Midnight Parade - 2008 Menus Will Be Posted In September
If you want to watch the ball come down and get out to celebrate New Year’s Eve with friends but are looking for a smaller, simpler gathering come to the Tap Room for our Afterglow Party starting at 10:30 PM. Light hors d’oeuvres will be available during the evening, but the midnight parade of sparkling chocolate bags, our signature dessert, is really something m-m-magical! Prix fixe per couple includes a bottle of Korbel Champagne and English “crackers” (beautiful little noise-poppers). $65.00 per couple, plus tax and gratuity.
